The Yamaha EAD10 is a fantastic addition to your drum arsenal but most of you have already found its biggest flaw: the little rubber stopper/foot that attaches it to the rim or specialty mic clip.

The good news is that there is an excellent replacement stopper available for it.  Many of you may be familiar with the name Matthew Chambers, the person in the UK who has been making and selling these.  Well, I figured why spend time trying to redesign a product that already exists and then undercut a small business so I reached out to Matthew and bought of ton of em so that those of you in the US can purchase them without having to pay the high shipping costs and import tariffs.  (Of course if you're in Europe or the UK and are reading this, please purchase these directly from Matthew so you're not paying double shipping....)

These are genuine Matthew Chambers' stoppers.

And of course while you're here, check out the other stuff on the Deaf & Drum website.  I make a couple special mic clips for the EAD10 and DSU50 to allow you to mount them on a mic stand (or cymbal boom arm with a little adapter for the clip.)

You can get the EAD10 mic clip HERE if you want that one.  (The EAD10 clip will NOT fit the DSU50 as the clamping mechanism is larger on the DSU50.)

There is a swivel version that I made for the DSU50 which also works great with the EAD10 and allows you to swivel the unit into better position if your mic stand is off to the side etc.  You can get it HERE.
And if you want the non-swivel version of the DSU50 clip you can get it HERE. (And it'll work with the EAD10 as well...)
