Mic Clip to Cymbal Stand Adapter

The EAD Buddy (Yamaha EAD10 mic clip) is designed to mount onto a mic stand BUT some people would rather use a cymbal stand that they already have. So here's the adapter to do that! (Or if you don't have an EAD10 but want to mount another mic onto a cymbal stand you can do that as well.)
It's pretty simple: The outer thread is the standard 5/8-27 thread that'll screw into a mic clip. The inner thread is M8x1.25 which is what the majority of today's cymbal stands use. (There are some older stands that use a smaller 1/4-20 thread which this won't work on, however those adapters do exist online and I can print one if you need that variety...) If you've purchased the cymbal stand in the past 20 years or so there's a very good chance this will fit.
