EAD Buddy (Yamaha EAD10 custom Mic Clip)

The Yamaha EAD10 mic is designed to clip onto the inner rim of your kick drum, but sometimes that's not possible due to obstructions. Or, maybe you want to use it as an overhead mic or room mic and thus need to move it off of the kick drum. Yamaha doesn't really make any way to do this easily....so I did.
This 3Dprinted custom clip is printed out of ABS and is solid as hell. The mic stand adapter is a standard clip and will work in any mic stand with a 5/8-27 thread. I've only made them in black but if you want a different color (of the clip part, the mic stand base part will always be black) let me know and if I have the filament I'll print it.

I have been trying to find a way to experiment with different mic placements for the Yamaha EAD 10, and this is exactly what I needed. My ride cymbal was overpowering the stereo mix with the typical drum hoop placement, so I look forward to finding a better solution to my problem with the EAD Buddy.

Fab product, well made and just what was wanted. Fast shipping, even over the xmas period and communication via the seller with all and any updates they had, was exceptional. Would definitely recommend these guys.
